Nikon Actively Responds to 2017 South China Floods

It was another unpeaceful summer in 2017, and the endless rainstorm hit many provinces in the vast land of China. On the way that floods passed, roads were submerged, houses were washed away, crops were totally destroyed, communication was interrupted, and the lives and property of the affected people were seriously threatened.

Nikon International Trading (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. actively responded to the call of World Vision and promised to donate 50 health kits to one of the most disaster-affected areas.

In August 2017, Nikon International Trading (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. made an urgent purchase of a number of toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, towels and other daily cleaning supplies, and organized more than 20 employees to sort and package. Finally, 50 health kits were completed and immediately sent to Anhua County in Anhua City of Hunan Province, the donation place designated by World Vision.

In September 2017, World Vision distributed the 50 health kits to people affected by the floods to help them solve their everyday personal hygiene problems.

Thanks again for the active response of Nikon International Trading (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. and its cooperation with World Vision to help flood victims cope with the disaster.
